Inter-monsoon. Which means the storm arrives between four and six with the confidence of a scheduled service, and you plan around it rather than hope.

Wednesday I did 2.8 km in four dashes: office to the first shelter, then a wait; shelter to the covered linkway, then a wait; linkway to the underpass, no wait, because by then it was merely heavy; underpass to Newton, walking normally in what the app insisted was still rain.

63 minutes for a walk that takes 38 in February. No complaint — the shelter network is a second map, and in this season you use it more than the first one.
